i'm finally updating my lj since apparently rizwan can't update his unless i update mine... lol ;)
hmmm...schools been horrible, i hate finals....they suck. i also hate romeo and juliet...it sucks. and whoever said shakespeare was a genius was very much mistaken. i haven't talked to anybody from cape in a while...
theres so much drama going on with everybody, and it's driving me crazy..i thought that it would all be gone with like middle school but i guess not
im trying to figure out how to write this stupid brief for phi delta y thats like due..wed and i have absolutely no idea what im doing. it's ridiculous. but i can't wait till states...it's gonna be so much fun.

so today after school a bunch of us brown ppl went to help sort clothes for the katrina victims. Getting done earlier than i had anticipated we would, i decided i was really tired so i decided to sit on the edge of one of the empty cardboard boxes. Looking back on it i don't know wth i was thinking, but oh well, it was pretty funny. The edge of the box bent in and i ended up inside the box lol. So i sat there cracking up while everybody around me was laughing their heads off....i didn't really think it was that funny, but i guess im wrong.... :( lol jk. So from that point to the point when we left the lady we were helping would not let me forget the fact that i tried to sit on the edge of a cardboard box! geez, i make one freakin mistake and nobody lets me forget it....
so then i came home after school and ran 2 and a half miles! (probably cuz aneesh called me fat!) i was so proud of myself! lol, im gonna try to do that everyday ( i always say that but somehow never end up doing it...) my sisters right tho, you do feel really good after you run that extra bit... :)

yes well, i got back from duke like a week ago. It was so awesome, and I really miss everyone from there... :(
I was talking to Lilly on the phone earlier, and I was like "i never got your postcard!" and she was like "but i sent you one!" and then after I got off my sister told me that it had arrived while i was gone. lol
I can't believe school starts the day after tommorrow! this summer went by sooo fast.....it sucks..... im not even gonna bother putting my schedule up cuz im gonna be all ALONE at ft myers. except i have pre calc with katie lawless the first day... thank god ill know somebody lol
everybody keeps asking me whether or not im excited about high school. im sry, but for some reason im really not. im not scared, or nervous either... i dunno, is anybody?

hey everybody! yeah...well theres like only one more week here at duke..... :(
its so sad, im gonna miss everybody so much! i met a lotta cool ppl here....

OH, so the other day, we were doing a scavenger hunt (ya ya, i know, it was actually pretty fun though) and we were supposed to get some of our RC's shirts. So we tried to get this guys shirts (his name's FONZY! isn't that like the coolest name you've ever heard??) but he wouldn't give it to us...so we were like "Fonzy, we don't love you anymore" so to make up for not giving us his shirt he had to sing us the titanic song, "my heart will go on" ! it was sooo cute! omgosh, i have that song like stuck in my head now....i love it, its such a sweet song! so cute.... but yeah, it was hilarious, cuz he can't sing worth crap. but he went through the ENTIRE song cuz we made him. Most of us recorded it on our cell phones so we're gonna use that to our advantage ;)
I'm like sitting here at the computer listening to that song, and singing along. I'm surprised that my friends aren't saying anything....probably cuz they're nicer than that lol
but yeah, we don't have the free time that we normally have on fridays cuz we have this ultimate frisbee tournament....what a freakin waste of time! I'm so mad about that. I thought we'd watch a movie again. Last friday we watched...umm...dead poets society. It was sooo sad...but it was such a good movie. I cried at the end...when the guy stands up on the desk and goes "oh captain, my captain" it was sooo cute! everybody cried *including fonzy* cuz only real men can cry. The guys in the back of the room didn't of course, cuz they're not real men (cough cough) well i have half an hour before we go on break so i have absolutely nothing to do. The guy next to me is watching some weird cartoon or something...he's so weird lol

OH! and HOLY CRAP! last night we were just sitting around and this one kid in my class that I sit next to was playing with the air freshener, and somehow he managed to squeeze out the gel from the air freshener so then he got bored so he LEANED OVER AND JUST POURED IT IN MY HAIR!! i was like WTH???????!?!?!?!?!? it was hilarious....except for the fact that it was in MY hair. So i turned to him and was like "why did you do that for??" and he was like "i dunno, i was bored....and you were the closest" i was like "...." honestly you would have to meet this kid to get the funny part about this situation. He's 6'5" and has the mind of a 5 year old. He can't go a day without breaking something, and he has absolutely NO common sense. And yet he got a freakin 1300 on the SATs. I am seriously thinking that they got his scores mixed up or something. So then he wrote me an apology note (on his own lol)It went like this:
"Dear Rehan, I'm sorry for pouring air freshener in your hair. It was just one of those "oh crap that was stupid" things when the "oh crap that was stupid" voice didn't start telling me it was stupid before it was too late. I'm going to not do any more stupid things to you, your friends, your hair, your clothes, your room, or your shoes. Once again, I am very sorry for being rude and inconsiderate. Sincerely, Ben"
I am dead serious. that was the note he sent me, word for word. I just copied it on here LMAO
but yeah, I had to wash my hair last night, but it still smells like air freshener.....everybody says it smells good though lol. At least all the chemicals are out now lol

hey guys....gosh...today sucked...
the day passed by soo freakin slow! i dunno why, but im still not homesick lol. Im good, Im good. this place is so much fun, i dont feel like leaving in 2 weeks! well we're learning about poems right now....sarah, the poem you have on your space....i revised. well it was just little things like punctuation... we're learning how to edit writing in class so i needed one to practice on, so i used yours!
btw, my teacher and TA have been dating since college.......LMAO
my friends and I are soo good that we figured it out on the first day! My teacher is so awesome, shes so much fun to talk to lol
omgosh theres this other TA here (for mathematical problem solving, gosh i wish i had taken that class...sigh) anyways, she is such a FOB! i know, i know, im so mean, and i feel so bad making fun of her......but she is such a FOB! ppl make fun of her and i feel so bad. Yeah, so my friends and I are improving our football skills...I ACTUALLY KNOW HOW TO THROW AND CATCH A FOOTBALL NOW!!!!! I was so proud of myself! yeah, well i think ill be going...im gonna go read harry potter. actually i dunno if i can. w/e ill figure it out

hey guys! I'm at NC right now...and i'm supposed to be typing up my story........but you know me, I am so good at multi-tasking lol. Yeah, this thing is pretty fun... the other day they taught us how to salsa and do the merenga (sp?) which I have always wanted to learn lol.
I REALLY REALLY wanna see dark water... but you know, i can't go see it here cuz a lotta the girls in my group don't like horror.....gosh they would be such good friends with my sister (cough cough)
hmm.......well nothing really interesting has happened recently, except I can't get on AIM from this freakin computer cuz it blocks the pop ups and crap.
well im gonna go finish typing up my story ;)

P.S.- AND OH MY GOD.... everybody thinks theres something going on between my Teacher and my T.A. (teacher's assistant) I"m sitting at a computer right across from them and my T.A. just turned to my teacher and was like "how about this for your shower curtain??" ARE THEY GETTING MARRIED OR SOMETHING?? its hilarious, cuz my T.A.s this big indian dude, and my teachers like this really small, white lady lol.....it so funny! They're like ALWAYS together!

im leaving for NC tommorrow.........but thats not really promising considering the weather.
im not even close to done with my packing, which probably isn't very good but w/e.
On a lighter note, I GOT MY HAIR CUT! I love it! its a lot shorter (but its still pretty long) and its so much easier to handle. I straightened it this morning (which really isn't very necessary anymore, cuz i dunno why but my hairs been a lot straighter on its own recently) and it only took me half the time that it normally does! i was soo happy.
haley and i went to see war of the worlds on thursday. I must say, i really liked it, even tho a lotta ppl say it was really stupid. i swear, there were only like two ppl (besides us) in the theater who were under the age of 40. and both of those guys were with their moms lol. but yeah, so halfway through the movie there was this one part where haley and i both screamed and the guy sitting in front of us (with his mom) turned around and gave me the weirdest look lol. i was like "haley! gosh.....stop screaming" hmm...i still dont understand the part at the end where they were like "omg look at the birds!" even tho haley's mom tried to explain it to me lol. but omgosh i REALLY wanna see dark water.........so bad..........you dont even know. I love going to see horror movies with the party cuz we all scream at the scary parts....not just me lol. but lilly and taye are gone...........and i dont think my mom'll let me go to the movies today, since im leaving tommorrow :(
hmm.......what else??
yeah i think thats it..........well, i'll be back on the 30th...don't miss me too much ;)

well that was a heck of a match...................i dont think i should watch tennis when i get old, i met get a heart attack ;)
but umm......venus definitely did not KILL davenport (like derek and I had predicted) but i think in all honesty.....davenport deserved to win more, but im glad venus won. I think davenport was playing better but she just couldn't close the match out. She had SOO many more chances than venus did and wasted them all. but when venus got her one chance to serve out the match she took it....
well yeah.....you know you going crazy when you start talking to the tv ;)
i cant wait to watch tommorrow's match, although i know that federer is gonna beat roddick... I'm predicting... 4 sets (if not straight sets lol)

well, sarah's over right now...........................and ashley was SUPPOSED TO COME, but her parents are still mad at her OVER NOTHING! lol.........i hate it when you're parents believe someone else, and they dont believe you. well, my parents believe me, most of the time. but it sucks that ashley's mom isnt listening to her........WHERES YOUR MIND ASHLEY?????? lol jk jk. well i think that this thing should just blow over, since the facts are all messed up anyways lol. and the only ppl who know what im talking about are like rizwan, and sarah; since ashley doesnt read my lj. but anyways, on to a happier note.
i dunno. theres nothing particularly happy going on in my life right now. Sarahs concurs........LMAO! well we rented Spanglish, but we decided not to watch it until like the middle of the night lol. OH!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so VENUS WILLIAMS BEAT MARIA SHARAPOVA!!!!!!!!!!!!! HALLELUJAH OR HALLELUJIA?? well, you guys get the drift lol. thank god someone finally beat that girl (Alhamdullilah ;) she was way to full of herself. ughh.....i was so happy to see her face after she lost. she was like doing everything she could to keep herself from crying.......HAHA. i'm such a mean person. i see joy in other ppl's misery lol. oh, Farah's pretty cool! oh and yeah, Davenport needs to win too.......well if it was davenport and williams in the final, i'd probably go for williams. just because i've always kinda been fans of the sisters lol. on the men's side, however, i hope roddick beats johansson (sp?)....which he probably will, but you never know with andy roddick (he's game is so inconsistent) and on the other side, i dunno between hewitt and federer.....im not really sure who i'd go for. I dont really like hewitt that much, just because he's a complete butt on court. lol, but i'd like someone to beat federer (like NADAL did!) lol, and if roddick and federer are playing the final, i'd definitely go for roddick. he really needs to win another slam. and he's been playing pretty good recently. but the thing with him is, he doesnt play good for a long time. thats why federer always wins lol. but enough with my tennis talk (since nobody but farah cares lol)
hmm..........well since im not talking about tennis anymore, i dont really have anything to talk about.......lol, i know i know. its really sad..................

gosh, so im really bored right now.... big surprise, right? lol
I can't wait till i go off to NC in like hmm.....12 days? well i thought i was leaving on july 12th, but i was thinking about it this morning and i was like "no...wait....i think its the 10th" so haleys coming back on the 5th, hopefully. We better be able to do something together before I leave. Taryn and I were talkng about that........not that anybody cares lol
Tayelor, when are you leaving???? cuz i haven't seen or talked to you in forever. we need to get together sometime.
I've been wasting my days watching tennis on tv 24-7. well, i wouldn't really say thats a waste of my time lol.
Life sucks.....i realized it like this past weekend......w/e ill get over it. hmm........im gonna start doing things differently...don't ask....

just got back from jacksonville.....
wow, that was so much fun, im really glad my parents made me go lol. we stayed up till like 4 and 5 every night talking and watching movies (and for me thats late lol). I never realized how boring and quiet my house really is until after coming back. :(
well, nadal lost at wimbledon today.......... :( oh well, nobody really expected him to do good this time....
oh i watched "bones" while i was in jacksonville. May i say, that was the stupidest movie ever! well i dunno, hitchikers guide to the galaxy was probably worse.....lol. but i HATED it.. and even the guy who forced us to watch it said it wasn't that great. even though he like laughed histerically (sp?) at all the funny parts lol. It was more entertaining to watch him than the actual movie lol. but w/e.
I really dont feel like going to volunteering tommorrow. For those of you who didnt know (which is probably most of you) i volunteer at the daycare at cape hospital. OMG.....................its so freakin annoying. I babysit like 12 two year olds for 4 hours. By the time im done, im totally exhausted lol
well i think im gonna go call the lady and tell her im not gonna be there......
